Not all stars are paragons of good parenting. But Beyonce and Jay Z are off to a great start. For the first year of her life, their baby Blue Ivy Carter remained sheltered from the tabloids. It's a move that not everyone understood, but it's a great first start at responsible parenting by both of Blue Ivy Carter's parents.

    I thought it would be great to wrap up our gardening series with a few tips on healthy eating for kids. Did you know that poor nutrition during a child’s early developmental stages can lead to behavioral problems in youth and beyond?

    As a child psychiatrist, I try my best to educate my patients about the importance of proper nutrition. And my favorite way to do that is to encourage family gardening. With that in mind, here are some great toddler and garden friendly foods that will help encourage healthy eating habits that last a lifetime.
